Wilford Wayne Kidd, 69, of Pleasant Hill, died Monday, November 8, 2010.

Wayne was a native of Northampton County, the son of the late James Edward Kidd and Edna Bennett Kidd. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Letchworth and Margaret Martin, and his brother, Willis Edward Kidd.

He is survived by his children, David, Terri, Sharon, Allen and Danny, all of Hopewell, VA; his sister, Kathy K. Stansbury, of Roanoke Rapids; and two brothers, Wallace Kidd and his wife, Linda, and James Wesley “Tootie” Kidd, all of Garysburg.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kidd Family Cemetery in Valentines, VA with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.
